Whirlpool Extended Service Plans

We filed a class action against marketers of service plans for appliances sold under the brand names Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, and Whirlpool. The lawsuit alleges that these plans promise to cover the “repair or replacement” of the product but fail to do so.  Also called an extended warranty and issued by AIG Warrantyguard, Inc., these service plans create the impression they are just an extension of the appliance warranty, but instead are an insurance plan run by a company other than Whirlpool.  If you have questions, or complaints or reviews of your appliance service plan, and did not get the repair or replace remedy you thought you would receive, contact us to discuss your case and the possibility of becoming a plaintiff in our pending lawsuit.
